| Probably the most gory of all the FF, this one never lacks in details when it comes to describe the terrible deaths awaiting you if you happen to choose the wrong path.... You start your adventure in the whereabouts of the fortress of Neuburg - somewhere in Khul - beneath which an ancient evil has awoken... This book has a wonderfully gloomy atmosphere and the terible beasts awaiting you seem to be spawning from a lovecraftian nightmare, as they often are described bearing tentacles, speaking of which, beware of what you carry in your backpack, you never know... My personal 3rd favorit FF 9/10 | |
