I possess one FF English version (thanks VIC ! ), I find less beautiful covers than the French Version "Gallimard" but it's practical to perfect my English

I remember that book.
I agree with you : we prefer the first French version cover, with the "nostalgia impact".
Unfortunatly, a lot of drawings and a few colored maps are missing in F.V.
An exception : it seems like the F.V. of the Chronicle of the Blood Sword (Sword Of Legend in FV) have some drawings by Russ Nicholson that are missing in the original version !

yes it's "Marks of mayhem" and I've never read the french version because this book has never had a good reputation

What a good idea to create a place like here where we can speak another language than our mother's one !
It's a good thing to make our fluently language richer and avoid some basic mistakes.
So as soon as I have an idea of a good subject, I probably create a "post".

We must find something to make this english section attractive. Come on guys ! Don't give up.

Maybe it's too difficult for many people in this forum to discuss in english, it's not evident.

Yes, maybe... But most of us are able to write, speak and understand this language. That is the reason why we decided to open this new section. Maybe we must find an idea to make it more attractive to english spoken members...

advertising in the english forums.
I don't see many other ways to let people know about us.

As I said in the topic "un équivalent de notre forum en anglais, ça existe ?", the english market is quite different from the french because of the giant Gallimard, and the fact that the english authors or series have their own forums : Fighting Fantasy forum, Lone Wolf/Aon, Dave Morris's, etc ...

I don't have the time to do the advertising on these english sites. Perhaps this summer...

I think that the interest of this section is to discuss with english people from english forums, if that stays between us, this section will not go very far.

So, if somebody has an idea...

I don't get it. If your goal is to communicate with people on the English forums, then just go there. You're never going to convince the English gamebook community (such as it is) to come to a French site just because you opened an English-speaking section. I mean, right now, I see nobody in this section except the regular Unnamed Forum members. No one from the outside will ever find this place.

Just in case... maybe one day. Imagine the whole British people trying to escape the London Olympic Games or the Royal wedding, we can offer them a place to hide.
We can't turn our back on them.

English people, don't worry, you can rely on us. We don't forget you.

We can make tea too.

Nobody want to speak here anymore, just to speak like I'm doing ?!
Okay so we are in the tavern, we can speak free... so what am I gonna tell ? Mmhh, maybe that summer is a bad season, because it's in this period that I work the most, I can't stand the sun, can't stand tourists and can't stand heat more of all.
I just have one good thing in summer : my work timetable 6am- 2pm.
I sleep a little bit to regenerate and after I can write my gamebook. And about my future gamebook I really enjoy writing it because I have to imagine a world located between Middle-Age, fantastic and Old Japan.
Creating strange creatures, stranges people with dark behaviors and tortured landscapes is one of my favourite step in the writing.
Maybe you can all read it for christmas...
Okay buddies, now I have to get out from here, not that Im' tired but My english start to get poor and poor !
