| I haven't read a lot of FF gamebooks:
The Warlock of Firetop Mountain The Citadel of Chaos The Forest of Doom City of Thieves Deathtrap Dungeon Island of the Lizard King Caverns of the Snow Witch House of Hell Temple of Terror
My favourite one is of course House of Hell. I just love its creepy atmosphere that reminds me of horror films. I prefer Steve Jackson to Ian Livingstone. There's too much dungeon crawling in Ian Livingstone's books, which isn't my favourite way of playing a gamebook.

| Do you think the first FF are better than the last, generally? | |

| nope it's the other way around imo, the more recent FF are the best: Dead of night, Howl of the werewolf, Vault of the Vampire, Crimson tide... you can't go wrong ! | |

The last ones are usually more interesting, with deeper backgrounds... But Creature of havoc is an early-gamebook and stands as one of the best, for example. Watch for authors rather than time of publication !
